Keen to watch this build. About to do a Battery build myself as a general play and light DH bike.

Really looking forward to getting my hands on one.

Any updates on how the build is progressing? Keen to see how its looking.

I just ordered a Battery and am waiting for it to arrive so I can build it up.

I'm going single ring on mine as my XC and DH bikes have single ring so I don't see the need for anything more. Hills aren't that big here.

What travel is the Pike? I've gone with a 160mm Marzocchi 55 TST2.

That looks really nice. I want to know how you find the ride as well.

Have much trouble getting the cranks to go on and clear the swing arm?

I did not come yet to ride...
I installed first my old Deore cranks. These have at the swing arm touchedů A Friend in Switzerland had installed the SLX at its Battery and these to have enough place.
    2 mm!

The project battery 2x9 is finished!
I exchanged with my friend the black frame with the oranges.
Last weekend I tested the Bike in the alps in Tirol. Departure took 1 hour, 1000 elevator meters.
The Bike is very agil. Uphills are no Problem with 2x9!

Derrailleur I had to sand the front off with a Flex a little, so that he does not touch at the framework. Additionally I fixed the front derailleur with a cable strap at the bridge pipe. (See red oval)

For me is that a super Freeridebike!!
