Why FSA cranks on all the Motobecanes?
I'm curious as to what the reasons are behind the FSA cranks on all the Motobecane bikes sold at Bikesdirect. I have nothing against them, but is it some sort of inside deal with FSA to spec those instead of something highly reputable like Shimano cranks?

In one word, yes. Money, profit margin, the long deal, economy of scale in a bunch more words.

Nothing wrong with FSA imo. Of OEM crank suppliers i'd say bang for buck is likely higher with FSA than with the S companie. I however ride square taper Suginos so what do I know?
