    Vuelta Team SL freehub

I was overhauling my bike and took the cassette off of my Veulta Team SL wheels. The freehub was pretty badly chewed up. I was able to get a new one from Bikesisland. The new one I got was different than the old one. I think the new one is steel and the old one was aluminum. Anyways the old one weighed 85g and the new one weighed 160g. Maybe the replacement is actually for a lower end wheelset. It was a little dissappointing, but I guess the extra weight is worth it, since the original one didn't last more than a few hundered miles. Just thought I would let all you guys with the Team wheels know this. Pics of the new and old are below.

Same thing happened to me on a Chris King hub I had years ago. Changed to the "steel is real" freehub and no probs after that.
I'm having this wheelset built for my Fantom Pro29er now and will have to see how they hold up. http://www.likinbikin.com/Products/Wheels_MTN.html
