It is a 26er 20in. I was just using my house scale, checked my weight, then my weight with bike, then subtracted. Probably not the best method, but wouldn't think it would be off by much. Oh well, suppose it is time to order a luggage scale, especially now that I have a road bike on the way.
Weight is 27.3 lbs. before the tensioner is added........new wheels will lower that a bit and i have a different seat (Fizik) that'll be on by Friday.......brakes (Avid BB7) get a rebuild tomorrow night with new cables......but it hasn't been ridden yet, so I am waiting patiently for the trails to dry out this week..........
Trifecta is Perfecta: 26" FSR Geared / 29er SS Rigid / 29er Ti Hardtail Geared
OK I re-weighed my bike on a better scale and it came out at 22.8... That's more like it!!!!
Here's the spec:
18" frame
FOX F100 R
King hubs/Mavic 819 tubeless
Sram 970 cassette
XTR M960 crank, custom converted to 2X9
XTR M965 brakes
XTR M960 derailleurs F&R
Old skool XT M730 friction thumbshifters
ENVE carbon handlebar
Ritchey WCS seatpost
WTB Speed V comp
I'm not a total weight weenie, so I'm happy to take a weight penalty for the FOX fork over the SID race. I've always been a Shimano/Fox fan over Rockshox/Sram/Avid, and this bike might be my fave. I could just sit there and look at it.
Just one thing though... I have a Thomson seatpost I tried to put on the bike, (it's a 31.4) but it slips! So I guess I'll stick with the Ritchey WCS. I don't have any probs with it, I just think the Thomson is a bit better. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks Motobecane!!!!!

Reason: Adding pics!!
Does anyone know when the Ti Flys (26 inch) tend to be in stock? BD can not give me a date, and I noticed their site seems to list 2011 as the last models sold.
I have been monitering for months. the 29ers came in, but no 26 models.
I have the parts to go 2x10 like my Tallboy, but for now I'm waiting till the 9 speed stuff wears out. With Crest rims and Racing Ralphs it's probably around 23-24 lbs, but I'm running some heavier stuff for a while:
XL Fly Ti 29er (3.61 lbs with seat clamp)
Rockshox Reba RLT with 15QR
King/Edge wheelset
Maxxis Ardents
FSA K-Force Light crankset
XTR M970 shifters and derailleurs
Elixir CR brakes, 160mm rotors
Thomson Elite seatpost
Easton Monkeylite XC wide bars
Nice wheels TXnavy. Are they lighter than the Stan's Crest wheels?
Yes and no...both have King hubs and the rims are the same claimed weight (380g). The Edge wheelset has four less spokes per wheel so they start out very slightly (4x4.4g) lighter.
Running tubes they'd therefore be ~18g lighter at either end. And if these were the newer UST tubeless rims from ENVE that would be the case as well. But these are the original Edge XC rims and they are a severe PITA to get to work without tubes.
Mine took something like three layers of Stan's tape underneath Bontrager Rhythm TLR strips to finally get tires seated. (There's a long thread on this in the wheels section...these are the opposite of tubeless ready ) So that's like 3x7g of tape plus 40-45g of plastic per wheel.
Sooooo...380g - 18g + 21g + 45g = 428g (counting the spokes, I know!) versus 380g + 7g = 387g with my Crests.
That being said...the 41g difference is hard to notice And these things are noticeably stiffer than my Arches while bringing this neat damping quality to the ride. I took them out yesterday and tried to bash them out of true and couldn't. I would take this combo (titanium frame and carbon wheels) down anything I would take my Tallboy on.
Definitely thinking of converting my Crests over to the "direct from China" rims after the last couple days honestly...
008 Fly titanium frame
Magura Durin SL fork
Cane Creek headset
stock Ritchey WCS seatpost and stem
Easton carbon bar, 620mm
Formula RX brakes
Front rotor - Hope. Rear - Formula
Hope Hoops Pro 3 XC6 with Stan's 355 rims. Rear with 10mm RWS bolt-on. Front with Halo bolt-on skewer.
Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25 Gatestar Snakeskin, tubeless with Caffelatex.
E.13 XC crank and BB with Salsa 32t ring.
11-36 HG81 cassette
Zee Shadow+ 36t derailleur, (still XT in picture)
foam lock grips.
XT rear shifter and alligator housing. XT 10sp chain, with Connex link.
XTR pedals (not in the picture)
At the time of this pic it was slightly over 22 lbs. Since then I have changed some things and have broken into the 21's by grams. I have a Ti bar, stem, seatpost spacers and put a Tundra saddle on it. Titanium for the win
Put a Syntace P6 Hiflex seatpost on my Ti 29er and raced it this weekend. Flexy carbon post plus Ti frame = barely missing suspension, even after 20 miles... B-)
