    Suspension Design on Fantom 29er?

I'm considering upgrading for a 26 inch Giant Trance 1 to a Motobecane Fanton FS 29er? I am wondering how the rear suspensions will compare? Is the Motobecane design generally good? How is the pedal bob? Thanks.

Ride them back to back and then draw comparisons.

I'd love to but in order to ride the Fantom 29er I would have to purchase it since it isn't sold locally. Thats why I was hoping to get some feedback.

The fanbois are going to tell you that the moto is the best thing ever, anyone who has seat time on Maestro suspension is going to give it the edge. IMHO, you have to spend north of 1500 to get a decent F/S 29er.

I bought one a couple months ago and got a few rides on it. the suspension is nothing special, but it does the job. I normally ride a Nomad so my sense of peddle bob might be skewed, but peddle bob doesn't seem to be an issue on the Moto.

I should add that I'm a clyde if thats makes a difference. How does the suspension design compare to the Giant Maestro?
