Motobecane 20'' FOLDING BIKE "1977"- FRONT LIGHT NEEDED

    Hello everyone,

I've just registered to this forum cause i want to find a part of my old bike Motobecane 20'' FOLDING BIKE (bought in 1977 !), which I' m trying to get back in use. I'm in the final stage of the complete restore of my beauty and the only part missing, is the original front light. Unfortunately the old one i already own, has no serial or code, company name etc. written on it. I've already made my research to locate this item from stores worldwide with no results...

Please, if someone knows how to obtain this front light or where to find it, please contact me as soon as possible.

ps. I've uploaded some photos of the exact light...

    Thank you in advance
    Kostas Stefanis

The French company, Motobecane, that built your bike is long gone, out of business decades ago. The Motobecane bikes supported here are spec'ed in USA and built in Asia. The owner of today's company, bikesdirect.com, paid for the rights to use the Motobecane label in the USA. There's no connection between the two companies.

Your best chance is to go to bikeforum.com vintage bike forum. Even then, your bike is really old and not typically collected, it can be difficult to find unique parts such as that head light.
