    Help fly vs fantom

Committed to a Moto titanium 29er, question is fly vs fantom. I know the fantom is slacker and a tad longer , more of a trail bike versus the fly which is billed as xc race.

This is where it gets tricky buying online, and I know it's subjective, but anyone have an informed opinion on the differences in ride? I am 50 years old, 195 lbs geared up, not an aggressive rider, but do like to hammer and ride a lot of tight singletrack. Lots of 1.5-3 hour rides.

If you were me, do you think you would you be comfortable with the fly as an everyday bike? Our is it really meant to be the special-purpose race bike?

I have the same question. Indeed, the geometry is a tad different on the two, but I'm not sure what that amounts to in the subjective experience. Has anyone ridden both?
