    Fantom Pro Ti

    so the hype begins...

I currently ride the Fly Ti and am looking to "upgrade" to a full suspension and was delighted to read this...
...straight from BikesDirect in a Weight Weenie forum topic, "New Beefy FANTOM PRO Ti will have big tires, 100mm fork, wide gears - and be around $1795 & about 22 lbs [not a pig by a long shot]".

My question is specific to the frame. Is the bike geometry, frame tube sizes, thickness, etc the same as the aluminum Fantom Team with the Fantom Pro's components?

YES!!!!! I also bought the Fly Ti this summer and I absolutely love it. I think a full suspension Ti would be a great complement to the Motobecane line. I have hammered my Fly Ti all season and it has never failed me. But on those days when my ass is just to sore to ride the hard tail I would love to hop onto a Ti full suspension Moto. Mike, be my hero. Produce a stiff 22 pounder with all the good stuff and the world will be yours!!

    Hi

    thanks for you question

The New Fantom Pro Ti will be same frame as the Fly Team Ti - but more 'trail' level components. I have a photo somewhere; but can not find it right now [too many computers]

When I find the picture - I'll post it

These sail in about 2 weeks and will go on pre-book then

seriously. when you stated beefy, I figured DS, especially since your fantom pro line is in that family...too bad.

New AL FS 29er is before that; should be six months or so

You should do one like Sycip Double Dribble (with Ventana's rear there - in aluminum) - or, even better, softtail style, like previous Cannondale Scalpel

With chainstay without pivots, like on Ibis Ripley, only in titanium.

That would be a nice race bike...

do you have a link to the specs on that bike?
Ya, I would love to see Motobecane (Bikes Direct) build a full blown, top notch, LITE (-24 pounds),Titanium, full suspension Race monster that is stiff. It sounds like its on the drawing-board. It;s going to be hard to wait 1+ years.
