    2010 Motobecane Fantom 29PRO VS 2011 Motobecane Fantom 29Comp

I am a newbie with mountain bikes and am trying to decide between the 2010 Motobecane Fantom 29PRO and the 2011 Motobecane Fantom 29Comp. I am not familiar with which has the better components. Any advice and insight would be greatly apreciated.

If they still have last year's pro in your size, you should buy it. The components are much better on the pro and for the price it's a screaming deal.

    +1

I picked up the 2010 Fantom pro29 few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it.

Word of advise though, before you get your hopes up in any 1 bike put it in your cart and try to buy the size/color you want. Very good chance it will be sold out.

I had 5 bikes picked out before I finally found ONE actually available to purchase... Took an extra 2 days just to complete any purchase at all! LOL

Thanks Folks. Appreciate the info. I went ahead and ordered the 2010 Motobecane Fantom 29PRO.
I can relate to the size and color. I had been trying to make a decision on a 26 for a couple of weeks. I ended up test driving a 29er yesterday and was much more comfortable on the 29er.

Awesome news, stock it is still great. I replaced the petals, Handle bar (wider bar) seat post and grips to get a huge difference in the ride. Now I couldn't be happier with it!
