Which would you recommend? I currently have a rigid SS and a FR HT. I'm looking for a light bike for longer rides with steep climbs (not much fun on my current bikes) and some Cat 3 racing. I plan to ride it stock until something wears out. The Fly is a little lighter with better components. What is the difference in frame geometry from the Fly and the Fantom? Thanks for your input.
First off let me say that I have never ridden either bike but if I were going to pick between the two I would go for the Ti fantom. The geometries are extrememly similar and the Ti frame should be more supple for longer rides. Although the parts spec is better on the fly, the fantom will work just fine and can always be upgraded if you get the itch.
Ti bike , for a frame that should last a life time , give you a much better ride quality , and a metric shiite ton more resale value .
