    New Moots

I saw the new Moots website with some of the new bikes listed for 2012. Am I hallucinating or are they doing away with the Cinco entirely? I didnt see it on there anywhere.

Gone...I'd like to read about the changeup in the suspension design if anyone has a good read to pass along. Taking it back to a TT mount versus the above axle linkage design is an interesting change to me.

and I'm not a fan of the sticker set on the MX Divide either.

    RIP Cinco

So I guess all of us Cinco owners are now owners of "classic" Moots bikes? Does this mean our bikes are worth more money now? Kind of like owning a Rolex.

Not worth more...now that's an outdated design.

    New Moots designs...

Yes, we have stopped making the Cinco and gone a new direction with a more modern single-pivot design that is more efficent and offers the rider the ability to really be able to use the entire about of travel.

The MX Divide and Divide will be ready to ship this spring. Along the way there will be a review or two as well.

You can read more on the Moots site if you like.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

Did you try some penitrating oil?

You may want to post this on Moots' blog and under another heading in the MTBR forums. This Moots forum doesn't see much action.

this happened (is happening) with my old ti frame...the ti post is stuck in the ti frame. For fear of literally breaking my seat off and/or the post mounts after wrenching on it for hours and with many oils, I decided to leave it alone and just thankful the height is right.
