    Moots Mooto XZ confusion

I was looking at the Moots Mooto XZ and I don't see the point. You pay huge money for the titanium and it is lost in the suspension. It probably flexes like crazy and is a dated suspension design. It seems to be aluminum would be a better choice with a more modern design. Hmm.

Alloy would be stiffer, lighter, and a lot cheaper. What is the point of using titanium on a suspension bike? I don't get it.

You guys need to lighten up. Not everyone who asks a question is a troll you know.

Jaybo, a bike like a Moots is more than just a tool. It's also a work of craftsmanship that people can both use AND appreciate asthetically. My criteria in a FS bike was mainly performance, but I also love the work of Moots and took a good look at their bikes before I bought something else. I'll stick to their hardtail bikes if I'm shopping but I can totally understand why someone would want the XZ.

Hell, if they built a Moots front end with a Mojo carbon rear, I might have been tempted.

Ti does have a more lively feel that comes across even on a dualie. It may not be the bike for you but the XZ is a great riding bike that is handmade in the USA and will last you a lifetime.
