I recently ordered a Mooto X RSL and have subsequently heard that shimano 2 x 10 XTR cranks with 28/40 tooth chainrings are not compatible [I know adapters are required for the pressfit 30 BB to allow a 24mm crank to be used] meaning you have to use the XTR 'trail' cranks.
So I'm wondering if the above regarding 28/40 ratios is correct. Is anybody using this ratio and encountering clearance problems with the chainrings and seat-stays. Seems odd that 2012 frame would not be compatible with Shimano's 2012 XTR 'race' cranks.
Any info appreciated.
