keeping original decals intact on my 1998 Rigor...

    Hi folks.

I have begun each of the past several seasons wondering if I should try to cover my slowly degrading decals with something like clear packaging tape (gasp!) to protect them from further cracking/peeling/rubbing off (especially on the top tube). My hesitation is that once on, the tape will have to be there for good as it will likely pull off the decals should I ever try to remove it. If replacement decals were to be found, I probably wouldn't care.

Anyway, I'm again about at the point again where I shrug and forget about doing anything with them for another season. FWIW, I have going through this thought process since at least '01 or so...

    What say you?
