    Weight of Homegrown Sweetspot frame?

    Does anyone know the weight of the 2nd generation (hollow pivot) Homegrown Sweetspot frame?

    sadly, no. for some reason, i didn't throw it on the scale before i built mine up. an educated guess would be a bit over 5 pounds for a 17". when comparing complete bikes, my 99 elite hardtail weighs about 3 pounds less than my 97 factory FS. both 17" and both with identical hardware. i am using a fox float L as my rear shock on the FS.

    I can get you the weight of a carbon front triangle and a shock, but that's the best I'd be able to do.

    For the record, the second gen Sweetspot in a 19" weighs in between 2150g and 2200g without the shock but with the mounting bolts. This puts it about 150g heavier than the first gen one.
