We the people ... Straight 8 Frames

I'm sure all you Homegrown fans have seen the NOS '99 Straight 8 frames on ebay. Well, I had to have one. It was cheap, and if nothing else, will make a neat wall-hanger.
I'd love to build it up, but after some research it seems that finding the rear end to this bike will be very difficult. I think it's essentially the same as the Yeti Lawwill DH-8, and it appears to be the same swingarm and stays as the 97/98 Straight 6 also. Am I correct?
So here's my plea, if anyone has those parts. For the time being, it's going to hang on the wall under my Homegrown sign.

I saw that first one for cheap and almost did exactly what you did - put it on my wall and call it good. Good luck finding a pull shock and rear triangle for that bike. I mean that both in the serious sense (I'd like to see you succeed) and the sarcastic sense, as they are very rare. DH8's aren't any more common. I believe you are correct in your parts assessment - the original S6 and S8 appear to be largely the same bike, and the DH8 (possibly DH6?) as well.

i'm pretty sure S6 pull shock swing arms will not work. yeti8 pull shock swing arms will. i'm not 100% sure about the 2000 s8/yeti8's because those frames came with a progressive linkage set up that attaches the shock to the swing arm and from the pictures it looks like the connecting linkage bars between the swing arm and chain stay on the '00 are shorter then the linkage bars on the '98/99. bearing & pivot sizes should be the same. for the rear swing arm check ebay, pinkbike.com and a few other websites you never know, you might get lucky!

    Wall-art.
And that's where it'll stay, probably for a looong time. I'd also use it as trade ammo toward a Factory hardtail frameset.
