    Pinn'r porn (SFW)

I know, the picture quality is terrible at best. Plan is to get some better pics this weekend and do a little first ride report. Until then, enjoy the new, stepped up offering from Mongoose.... (becasue I do!)

The 2009 stuff should be available around the time your shop said. I ride with the Mongoose Tribe so I was lucky to work directly with the Goose.

    It's a 2009 66 ATA.

That's a tough one because they're very different bikes designed for very different purposes. Just like a hammer is for hammering and a screw driver is for screwing (that's what she said ).

What you have to look at is your riding style and terrain you mostly ride. Do you need more travel or less? Is there a lot of climbing or are you shuttling/riding lifts (on a side note, the Freedrive system pedals amazingly efficient or any Mongoose). A lighter bike or something more burley? Are you racing... 4x, XC or DH? What can you afford? What kind of bikes you already have and where would a new one fit in?

Either way they're both great bikes and you can't go wrong.

Yeah I know they are different. Its either do I want something perfect for what I do/want (nugget) or do I want something overkill =)

the freedrive is pretty amazing, yet on a bike with DH geometry it is still hard work, even on a slight fireroad: be prepared to be leaning on those front forks like a mofo.
