    Mongoose Vanish???

Is this a decent bike for jumping and riding downhill?? Strong?? I used to race BMX and like jumping. But not 30 feet in the air. So is it a good bike??

I wouldn't use a department store aluminum full suspension bike for any jumps over 2 feet, Im not bashing the bike as my secondary bike is a $200 dollar Mongoose Tactic from Kmart and I've done some crazy things on it.

The frame on that bike will hold up to a bit of jumping as like most cheaper mongooses the rear triangle is probably steel and only the main frame is aluminum, but the rear shock is the same as in mine and no matter how its adjusted it bottoms out on even 1 foot drops. Also you might want a more durable fork. You can get a good bike shop Mongoose hard tail mountain bike that would better suit jumping for about $279 mabee less heres links for the 24" and 26" versions of the Zero G :|8|

If you can't get ahold of one of those and still have to go cheap look for a Blackcomb or Tech 4 as they have a bit sturdier rear suspension setups and are in the $200 - $280 dollar range.
