    mongoose forks ajustable??????

    HOw do you adjust the forks on the mongoose bikes

    You know, you probably didn't get any responses because you put in such a general question, as if people reading would automatically know such things as:

    -what model bike
    -what year
    -what model fork

    ok it is a mogoose dxr. these are all stock. (I am a noob) it is an element fork

    element fork? what in the world are those? I highly doubt that fork can be adjusted.

    if you take the caps off you can see an allen bolt do those tighten them up or something

    It's a walmart bike. The front forks are essentially two pogo sticks attached to a wheel. There is no adjustment and the bike probably should not be taken on any tough trails.

    The allen bolts probably hold the lowers onto the stantions. Don't touch them unless you want to kill yourself on the trail.....
