Recently spotted this frame on ebay, simply couldn't resist it and got it at a bargain price. Its a Mongoose Deuce Pro stripped down by the previous owner. Apparently it came with RS Psylo forks, a mixture of Truvativ and Saint groupset and brakes, some Titec bits etc. By the time I bought the frame most of the other bits were gone so I had to start a build afresh.
I really can't find much information about this bike at all other than it was manufactured from 2001 for a few years. The thing that got me excited was the skeletal head tube which is adjustable for head angle - not seen that before and the nondescript grey colour.
Is this frame really as rare as hen's teeth? Are there any Mongoose guru's out there who knows anything about it? Any info would be appreciated as I do like the bike. Its something different.
Here's the current spec and some pics - Cheers!
