Lots of Shimano SLX in the new spec.

Canaan '09 also has Extrolite tubing and some styling details on the rear swingarm.

Yea it seems they have changed over to mostly shimano gearing, went to FSA cranks over Truvative and dropped the SR Suntour forks on the Comp models, but all the bikes have gone up about $300 over the price the same models have had for the last few years. Either way they are still a great deal for money.

No prices on the new lines, like mentioned above atleast a $300 increase on existing models and some models being droped like the kypher elite. The kypher thats left went up 600. I was interested in mongoose bikes, but w/ the price diffrance I'll be looking at diffrant models for a 6in trail bike, unless when it comes time after xmas when I'm ready to buy if I can find an 08 kypher elite. If not I'll defanatly be riding something other than a 'goose next year.

I hope they didn't really drop the khyber elite. Maybe they just haven't posted it up yet. If not, looks like I'll also be looking for an 08 model next year.

I'm looking into a scott ransom. If there's no elite, for the money they want for the only kypher the ransom has a GREAT spec 6.5, 3.5, or full lock out and in the 33-35lbs range. This has me most excited is the weight.

The cheapest ransom, ransom 30, is priced at $3794.99. That's quite a bit more than the khyber elite. The khyber super is priced at $3499.99.

Dang my 2008 Teocali Super was priced $800 less with much better spec than the same 2009. Good thing I bought when I did.
