mirada sport

Going through my friends garage, we came across a mirada sport bike by schwinn, a 21 speed bike with gs100 shifters. Anyone know what year this bike is from? Not that i wanto ride it but for hahas.(I never even heard of a mirada sport. Anyone here know of it?

I bought that bike in about 1992, it was an awesome greenish/yellow color. My dad still has it and I'm thinking about "fixing it up".
