How is Mongoose with warrenty claims?

I bought my Mongoose ECD 2nd hand from a guy who works at Oakley, who got it from a Mongoose Sale Rep.

I'm having trouble locating the guys contact number (he said he could help me out if anything went wrong with the frame). How is Mongoose with warrenty claims over the phone?

My issue is one of the pivot bearings is ovalizing on me causing excess play...I believe it was a common issue with the early runs on the 07 frame, which I have.

Just wondering before I make the call.

FWIW, I went through Performance and they replaced the cracked rear triangle on my 2005 Teocali Super for free (I had to pay for new bearings)....

I've never heard of a company that would honor a warranty for a bike bought 2nd hand. Every owners manual I've read says the warranty is only good to the original owner.
    Good luck though.
