Front derailleur for Mongoose Grand Marquis

I am beginning to assemble the GM, but now have found the front derailleur I bought is not working! I havev an SRAM X-Gen top pull bottom swing seat tube mounted. Due to the S-bed on the seat tube, the derailleur does not line up right to the big ring.

Do I need to go with a derailleur that mounts on the bottom bracket? Or is there something else that works? Thanks!

I found that my SRAM X-Gen is a high clamp, and by the looks of your pic I need a low clamp. Thanks again!
