    Month in madison

I'm going to be in Madison for a month and was wondering if there were any good trails in the area. I'm probably going to be bringing my long travel hardtail with me (unless there are trails nearby that would warrant bringing me 7" bike)

    Go to:

    Capital Off Road Pathfinders

and look at the trails tab. In the other area trails section, Kettle Moraine is within an hour's drive.

    you will have fun

A nearby post discusses Blue Mound and Cam-rock but Madison has a bunch of opportunities to while away time on a bike.

If bringing one bike, the hard tail will serve you well.

Cool deal. Yeah I figured the hardtail with the rigid fork and the 66 if I want some plushness should cover whatever I see. Do you guys have a local forum to meet up for rides, or is it pretty much going to be solo flying?

    rides

Cam rock sports has a weekly Monday ride that looks to be very social. Check the corp board Walt mentioned for others.
