    Lift Assisst Parks in Minnosota/Wisconsin?

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for bike parks in this area. I know a couple of the ski mountains convert over to downhill parks in the summer time and I wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to one.

    Thanks,

Spirit Mountain in Duluth is opening up this year. Sorry, I don't remember the details. But if you search, you will find some articles with opening dates, prices, etc...

I was reading about Spirit Mountain...From what I could tell, they currently only have two runs available for riders....is this true?

That is what I read. OK if you lived in the area, not worth a long drive.

Don't they have to build some hills first?

There are some serious hills in Duluth. Try driving on some of those streets once!

More trails coming in Duluth this summer, the 2 that exist were built late last summer, and those will start the season.

    Mountain Biking - Spirit Mountain

Mount-du-lac. In Wisconsin near Superior (near Duluth) also has DH Trails, but I am not sure their condition as they were flooded out last year.

    Mont Du Lac

also, Giants Ridge holds DH races, but it seems that the trails are only open for events.

Nordic Mountain is running their annual Downhill race next Saturday, May 11th. They will also have enough snow for a small rail park and have their wakeboard park open.

    checkout nordicmountain.com for details.

The Rock Complex will be done soon.

Bike Parks | Rock Complex -

Chairlift with so little elevation will be interesting. It's hardly worth it for skis in the S. part of WI so I'm curious to see how it will be with a bike. Vertical at the new place will be like Blackhawk where I just ride my bike up and recent work makes that easier than ever. I do get where most won't want to be riding a full-blown DH bike up the hill.
