    2009 WORBA Whirled Tour. Wisconsin.

    2009 WORBA Whirled Tour.

    What it is.
    • A grass roots effort to promote WORBA (Wisconsin Off Road Bike Association), WORBA Chapters, and bring awareness to Wisconsin bicycle trails.
    • Each participating Chapter's trail system will be a stop on the tour. The Chapters would be responsible for providing "guides" for their trail system. All a person needs to do is show up at the designated time and place and at least one person from that WORBA Chapter will be there to "guide" them around.

This is a great opportunity to ride the best of Wisconsin's singletrack, guided by the people who build and maintain the trails. Great opportunity to meet other bikers, ride great trails and have a good time.

Last year 35 riders started this non-race, 7 finished, 5 got lost and over 50 people had a very good time. There is no charge to ride, but a post-ride meal at the Bear Paw will have a small fee. Last Year's menu revolved around deep fried turkey with all the fixings. Meet at the Boulder Lake Campground boat launch parking lot 1:00 PM

Both of these events are great opportunities to see some of CORPS best singeltrack and help support our effort to boot. Racing too daunting? Form a team and enjoy the event at your own pace or just bring the bike and hangout/ride all day long.

    See you there!
