Large mountain bike retail shop in Illinois?

I'm looking for a good sized bike shop with lots of choices of accessories (ex. helmets, flat peddle shoes, clip-less shoes) in Gurnee area or lower WI. I live in upper WI and am coming down next week. There just isn't really any selection up here. If you know of any place that would be awesome!

FYI, Watch out who you talk to at North Central Cyclery. I had a bad experience there. Dean, who often hangs around there, will give you HELL if you go in there and talk to them and DO NOT leave without buying bike. The strange thing is, Dean DOES NOT work there. A few people I know have boycotted the place.

Anyways, my cousin raves about Zion Cyclery. But if you're willing to drive down to the city, there are PLENTY with various brands to chose from.

I'll tell you this.....

Stay the hell away from the Performance on LaGrange and 159th. I went in with my brother who was looking for a cyclocross bike last summer. One of the employees argued with us and was dead set on the fact that cyclocross bikes are CAPABLE of going off road, but it's not what they were built for. People don't race these bikes off road. Retard says what? How did this clown get a job here?

Not exactly southwest, but there's Goodspeed Cycles in Homewood. I know there's some places in Frankfort and Mokena too.
