    Visiting Etown

I may be in Elizabethtown for work next week and I'm considering dragging the bike along just in case I can find some extra time to go ride. Any suggestions for locations nearby to ride. I'll do some poking around on the KyMBA site later on today but just curious to get some idea of what's around.

    Thanks.

Otter Creek (North Hardin County) is open Wed-Sun and is $10 a day. We rode it Saturday and it was fun but look for blown down debris and trees. We won't be out for a trail work day til this weekend.

Saunders Springs (Radcliff) has a three mile loop and some connector trails. We'll be riding there from the Outdoor Ventures shop in Radcliff on Saturday at 4:00. We'll probably add some mileage with some Ft Knox trails but they are rail trail type trails.

Freeman Lake has a loop that is in town. Watch out for joggers on nice days.

Youngers Creek is being logged and is therefore trashed right now. I wouldn't recommend it. That's a battle KyMBA and others are gearing up for.

Shoot me a PM and I'll connect you with some folks or show you around.
