Two Rivers story in Rural Missouri

Here's a link to the story I did on the new Two Rivers Bike Park for the August issue of Rural Missouri. Rural Missouri - August 2013 - Adrenaline adventures

Also, here's a link to the hi-def video, you can also watch a lower resolution version at the link above. I recommend letting this load before you hit play.

    Enjoy!

Grand opening at two rivers last weekend. Everyone loved the trails.
If the path ahead looks dangerous ------- it probably is!

Was there yesterday, top notch riding area. Something for everyone, very well organized and managed, and great trails. We've had huge amounts of rain over the last 2 weeks here in S.W. Mo, and within 24 hours of the last rain, it was all basically dry except for one small section of one trail. The "skills section" is fun, haven't done the downhill yet, but betting it's a blast too.
Free to ride, with the only thing being, they ask that you sometimes come out and help a bit with trail maintenance and such. They do have a place set up to donate $$ if you'd rather help that way.

We are also working out the logistics of a donation for shuttle rides....so look for that in the future as well as phase 2

I was there today, place was hoppin'. Parking lot was full to overflowing, and when someone left someone else pulled right into the vacated parking spot. But out on the trails, it was peaceful. Meet some other riders once in a while, but mostly ride along with my thoughts, and my burning legs, and pounding too high heart rate, and the sound of me huffing and puffing.
    It was a great ride..
