    Terre Haute

So, I'll be moving to Terre Haute next week for work and I'm wanting to get some ideas (other than what can be found on Singletrack/MTBR) of close trails and conditions of such within 45min-1hr of Terre Haute.

Trails further away are also welcomed as I will have plenty of down-time this summer to explore Indiana.

I appreciate the help, ideas, and input!

    Cody

Hey Codyl, Are you moving to Terre Haute, Indiana? I am from Terre Haute, Indiana and just started riding this year. "New" to this sport, but have rode bmx bikes (freestyle/tricks/park) for the last 10 years. Learning trails is a "new beginning" on my Specialized bike. Hit me up sometime. Bryan

    Check at HMBA.org
    Someone there might be helpful.
Also, in IL, there is Kikapoo. I think it is in / near Danville, IL.

Yup, that's the place. I haven't got a chance to get out yet since I've been here but hopefully next weekend I'll be able to get away for a day.

So, I haven't found much of anything close to The Haute. However, some friends and I go down to Brown County every other Sunday or so and the trails are absolutely AMAZING. I would highly recommend everyone riding these trails as much as possible.
