Is the Mohican Wilderness Trail still open?

Was coming back to town after being away for a few years and was thinking of riding the Mohican Wilderness Trail but wasn't sure if it was still open. This is the trail located off of Wally road I believe.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I just got back from there, yes, the MTB trail is still open...

A word of advice: Don't attempt to "hike a bike" on the hiking trail that leads from the campsite reservation area to the backpacking campsite number 7..

edit: looking at the map, the trail you don't want to "hike a bike" with is hemlock trail (this is a hiking trail, difficulty level: advanced)

North Rim Trail (MTB trail) is open.

PS: I should have made a copy of this map and taken it with me, would have prevented the 3 attempts at my life that the forest threw at me

Thanks for the info! That map/trail looks like the big Mohican State Park trail. I am looking for the trail status in this pic.

Sadly I didn't see that, but I may not have ridden past it (the trip was a holmes county bikepacking tour) :S

I was going to link you to the local trail conditions page, but it looks like MW is not on there. MSP is.
Maybe keep an eye on it.

Sad to say but I confirmed on Sunday that this trail no longer exists. I last road it in 2004 or so but when I went there this past weekend the sign and trail were gone. At least we still have the Mohican State Park trail.
