Indy ex-pat from Colorado reconnects with Hoosier roots

I grew up in Indy and moved to Summit County Colorado (MTB heaven) almost 30 years ago. I was in Indy visiting family this past week and decided to bring the MTB and road bike.

I managed to fit in a day of riding at BCSP. I must say whoever was involved in creating the trail system there did a top notch job! Great trails. If you folks can get more of that sort of thing in the hill country of IN you'd have an MTB mecca for the midwest.

I also really enjoyed being immersed in the grand hardwood forest of my Hoosier birth with all it's sights, smells and variety although the heat and humidity was tough for someone who lives at 9600' above sea level!

I agree! I went for the first time a month or so ago and I can't wait to get back down there and ride more.
