Any fine folks from the IL side of the St. Louiis, MO?
Just got my first bike, and I have just been riding around town, and a few park trails. Anyone know any good spots on this side of the river?

I'm about 5 hours north of ya with some great trails if you ever do a weekend away to ride in Chicago.

The best trails near you are in Missouri, West side of the Lou. Check out greensfelder, chub, castlewood. Lots of other options nearby too. Look up GORC, and check out the map. For a couple hrs drive North, you can check out our trails in the Peoria area. This time of year you'll find there's not much riding going on due to the damage it does to the trails.
Grit, spit, and a whole lot of duct tape!

If you're anywhere near Edwardsville, I know there are some trails around SIUE.
As mentioned previously, check out GORC. They've got tons of info on trails, group rides, etc. Pretty sure they used to have a pretty regular group get together at SIUE. Looks like they still might.
I've never ridden at SIUE, but I have spent some time at Castlewood and Chubb. Both are definitely worth visiting! I've also been wanting to get down to the Berryman and Middle Fork Loops for some all day "epics" :-)
