    New Trails in Lafayette, IN

    Sorry if this was already posted here, I didn't notice it if it was. J also stole the post from another site.

    Riders Wanted To Help Ride In New MTB Trails Near Lafayette, Indiana

    Some friends of KCV Cycling Club have informed us of new mountain bike trails being built near Lafayette, Indiana. For all you Boiler fans that head that direction, be sure to bring your mountain bike. The Lafayette Trail Group has upcoming Dirt Days they would like people to come out and help ride in the trails. Dates are as follows:

    Sat. Sept 20 2 p.m.--7 p.m.
    Sat. Oct 11 2 p.m.ó6 p.m.

    A recent write up about the trails mentioned this...

    Dayton, Indiana trails offer a variety of fun and challenges as you wind your way through our unique terrain. We update and add to our trails regularly, no two rides will be the same! Try our mountain bike race trackóbumps and turns and jumps and berms and hills and thrills and hopefully no spills! Ride "The Monster", our 8' tall over & under bridge \ tunnel.

    To get to the trails at 4555 Dayton Road, Lafayette, IN:
    38E into Dayton, turn R at Dayton Road (Liquor store on left), go 1.6 miles South. Look for sign at drive on left.
    Helmets required
    Riders must sign a waiver--parent must sign for riders < age 18.
    No pets please

    That Oct date is the same day as the Brown Co Breakdown. Not great timing there. Nice to see mroe trails though.
