    Best Trail system in Indiana

Would it be Brown County? I am traveling from New Jersey to Kansas City so I could go 46 hwy or i70. What would be my best bet? I love technical trails if that helps any.

If you only have one day I would say brown county. Over 30 miles of trails from easy to expert. Also in the area is gnawbone camp and valley branch retreat, if you want more rough back country experience.

+1 for Brown County! There's a good write-up in the latest issue of Dirt Rag.

Brown County is not at all technical, except for the schooner trace trail and some of walnut trail, but as a whole it is really worth hitting up.
Gnawbone Camp and Valley Branch are right next door to the park, and are far more technical and rustic, but its kind of a maze and your first ride there would be mostly spent wayfinding.
