Bell Built at Brown County (IN)!
Bell Helments is awarding $100K to build three new trail projects and Brown County State Park (Brown County Mountain Bike Trails Nashville, Indiana, USA) has been selected as a finalist!
The next wave of trails at Brown County State Park have been in the planning stage over the past year. We still have to clear some reviews for some of the trails, but the Hobbs Hollow Flow Trail has been approved and we applied for a Bell Built Grant for this trail.
With over 100 applications, the competition was tight, but we came out in the lead pack! We are up against 3 other flow trails. Our Midwest friends at Copper Habor made the final round for a gravity trail and the Elm Creek trails in Minnesota are in the running for the Bike Park category.
In the Flow Trail category, we are up against.
•Coldwater Mountain: Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association, Anniston, Ala.
•Burke Bike Park/Jay Peak Resort: Kingdom Trail Association, Burke, Vt.
•Corral Trail: Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association, South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
The final round requires us to show public support for the project. Voting starts on March 5th!
Log onto Facebook and "like" Bell Bike Helments.
Starting March 5th you'll be able to "like" our video and vote for Brown County!
Don't forget to donate to the HMBA Trail Fund. With 15 more miles still to come at Brown County, we'll need all the help we can get!
More info about the Brown County trails can be found at Brown County Mountain Bike Trails Nashville, Indiana, USA or join us on Facebook!

Hope you don't mind, I just flat out copied your post and put it in the WI/MN section....
(and yes I've voted. Hopefully everyone noticed the MI and MN projects in the other two categories and voted there, too)

Feel free to spread the word....we've definitely been voting for the "local" MI and MN trails down here in IN.
Don't let this grant slip away from the Midwest. Thanks

If you could please spare a few minutes and help Elm Creek out by going to this link https://www.facebook.com/BellBikeHel...28716427271717 and voting for Elm Creek under the pump track projects? While you are in there if you want to vote Mid-West by selecting Hobbs Hallow for Flow trail project and Copper Harbor for Down Hill trail project; that would be awesome!
I have been working very hard on this project with the Non-profit group MORC (Minnesota Off Road Cyclists) as well as Three Rivers Parks Department and I know the other Mid-West clubs have been doing the same. We are nearing the end of the voting campaign and need everyone’s help. Please take the time and vote. If you would want to help more, please pass this along to your friends and family. Voting ends on 4/12 and winner is announced on 4/19 at Sea Otter! The Mid-West needs this attention to show people how awesome our trails are here!
Thank you!

Just heard the results. Sorry to hear. Hopefully this doesn't derail the project.
