    Womble Trail conditions?

Does anyone have any idea of the current conditions of Womble? We are visiting my parents in Arkadelphia, AR this weekend and were thinking about hitting part of Womble on our way back north tomorrow. I am concerned about overgrowth and slop after the storms this weekend.

    Thanks in advance

The FV to 922 or so is in awesome shape! Had some monster storms last night so may be some new stuff down you may need to move but thats it.

Headed to the Womble/OT this week

Riding Thurs - Sat. 1st timers from Austin, TX. Looking to do the whole Womble one day but also up to taking suggestions to get the max out of this trip since it has replaced our CO trip due to sched conflicts. What's the best routes/trails? And, would 100 oz of water be enough for an all dayer?

    Thanks.

Should be fine on water but start early!
If I was doing 3 days I would do the "south" Womble as a day. "north" Womble up to OT as a day. Then finish up with an easy day at the Vista trail. You can PM me if you want to discuss further when you have maps in hand. Todd

Thanks! I have gotten map links off other threads here and will review tonight. We'll be staying at the hwy 27 FV and it sounds like these can be done out and back but from what location? And, what do you call early?

well depending on the high for the day we have been starting as early as 6 but 7 is good. By 11 or so it's hot but you are from TX so you know! Have fun.

Planning my first ride on the Womble with my rigid SS9r during the Labor Day 2011 weekend. Looking for people to ride with. I've already checked with Parkside Cycles and they haven't heard about anything yet. Either post here or PM me if you like.

P.S. The auto-moderator has determined I'm not worthy yet to post an original thread in this forum, hence the appearance of a cross-post.
