Shreveport area trails?

I'm going to be in Shreveport area later this week(tuesday8/21-friday8/24) be bringing my bike along. The research I have done shows "the monkey trail" closes at 5:00pm so I might not be able to make that after work. So it looks like the stoner trail might be my best bet. Is there a hotel within riding distance to the trail?
Any other trails in the area I would be able to ride in the afternoon after work or early morning before work?

if you get some time GO TO TYLER TX and ride the trail there. it's at a state park. killer trail. monkey is good as well but Tyler blows it away. Tyler State Park Mountain Bike Trail in Tyler, Texas || SINGLETRACKS.COM
