The state championship comes to Central Louisiana on November 4th at a trail that's an easy drive for everybody, and a trail that everybody seems to like.

The Kincaid Lake Recreation area, just outside of Alexandria, has wonderful facilities and the epic 12-mile "Sasquatch Loop" will be breezy-fast in the amazing Fall Louisiana weather.

Just got word from the race director that there will be Jambalaya for all the racers. It's looking like a beautiful weekend on Lake Kincaid next Sunday, November 4th. We're setting up the course marking early, please be kind to the course markings this week, they're there for your safety and convenience.

camping: Contact the recreation and trails manager for the Kisatchie National Forest, Jen Heisey, jheisey@fs.fed.us. 318-793-9427. Camping is reserved on a first come, first serve basis. They have RV hook ups and primitive camping at campsites only.
