As soon as locomtb activates my account, I will post there and provide info and clear up any misinformation. Any idea on how long it takes them to activate; been almost a day now.

Can anyone recommend a good shop to rent a demo MTB either in Baton Rouge or on the North Shore? Would prefer full suspension but will settle for a decent HT.

LOCO for the Shreve/Bossier/Minden area trails

Louisiana State Championship | The 2012 LA XC Series of Mountain Bike Racing for the State MTB racing series info

And Monroe has one trail, the Forsythe loop, which is a short but fun trail in a local city park. We hold a couple of night races there each year. Probably one happening later this fall. nelacycling.org • Index page for the Monroe/WestMonroe info.

Pretty new to the mountain biking thing, I'm from around the Lafayette area. Plan to check out some of the area state parks, I hear Comite is nice, I'll ride the Spillway when we go to visit the girlfriend's family in Metarie. I recently checked out this place and had fun. It's worth checking out if you're nearby.
