    Little Blakely, Lake Ouachita

Anybody have any recent feedback/review on Little Blakely trail at Lake Ouachita? We will be coming up to the Hot Springs area in April. We typically ride the Womble, Vista Trail and Cedar Glades but wanted to try something new and looking for any info on Little Blakely or other trails.

Not sure, haven't heard about any trail work since the snow storm at Christmas.

Is it a worthwhile destination when trail is in good shape?

Also, how about the Ouachita Trail off of Hwy 7 in the Jessieville area?

LB is good to go. It's a step up in difficulty from Womble etc. The OT off 7 is more wilderness type riding and is only open to bikes heading west.

Thanks for the info. LB sounds like it will be a good choice for something new and different.

We will be there next weekend - April 12-14th. Plan is to ride trail at Lake DeGray and Cedar Gladdes on Friday. Little Blakely on Saturday. Probably Cedar Glades again on Sunday on the way out of town.

THenne (or anyone else), you available to ride Saturday at LB?

I personally haven't been out there since early last year. You should definitely go to Iron Mountain. Not to far from Hot Springs and definitely worth the time. There have been a lot of new trail "extensions" that are really nice. If you like all of the ones that you have mentioned... you will "really" like Iron Mountain! Enjoy the ride!
