    I'm comin to Mountain view!

I will be in Mt view Ar for a week in October. I see I am close to an entrance to syllamo. Is anybody on here from the area? Maybe i could talk somebody into a little guiding action? I will probably only ride 2 or 3 days and it would be no more than a 4-6 hour out and back or something of that nature.
I ride because exercising sucks, it's a lot of fun, and it makes beer taste oh so much better.

I'm not from there, but have ridden there and if you can't scout up any guides, don't worry, the trails are very well marked loops. You can get a trail map there, giving you trail descriptions, how difficult they are and even suggestions for the best way to ride the loop. Very nice trails, so enjoy, I hope to get back there sometime soon.
    Saddle up, Effendi. We ride.

    Here's a link to a trail description/map: http://www.fs.fed.us/outernet/oonf/o..._rog_07_06.pdf

Don't fret too much over the skill level ratings on there- the rock gardens are tough, but they're intermittent enough that even if you walk some them, you're still gonna have a good time. The trails are generally well-marked, and the nice thing is that if you do get turned around, you're usually not too far from Green Mountain Road (the forest service road that runs straight through the whole system), Highway 5, or a logging road that will take you to one of those two places.

Anywhere that the loggers have been is likely to be thorny. Wear bug spray.
