    Crank Nasty Cycling.

Mountain biking has seen a bit of an explosion in popularity in Northeast Arkansas over the last 2 years. As a result our local trails (Craighead Forrest) have seen many new faces and many new changes and improvements.

Recently a new race team has formed called CRANK NASTY CYCLING. We are more than a race team though we spend about half of our efforts working on improving our local trails and maybe a little drinking on the side as well. I'm proud to be a part of this little group and call these people my good friends.

We don't have our website running yet we have started a Facebook page. Only about half of our rider profiles are posted at the moment but there is also some pictures of some of our trail work and a little bit of information about the group itself. Feel free to check it out.

Well then by all means get loaded up and headed this way. You should come over sometime between now and the DDD and me and a couple of your locals could give you a tour.

Ahh, last night I thought this read NW Arkansas (one too many at the time). NE would be a bit farther for me but not that bad of a trip. I'll look into it! Currently planning a fall trip to the Womble and the new 2 Rivers park in MO.

    Sadly no. Such a bummer.

    One day to go!!!

Crank Nasty Cycling announces the TRIPLE D CUP series presented by Gearhead Cycle House. Our version of Super D racing at Craighead Forest Park. Timed Staged Downhill runs that includes an extended Cannonball Run, 2 optional Nemesis runs, and Root Ramp Run. Starting point near the back gate at Access 3, finish line at the Root Ramp tree. Riders only timed for the downhill runs, no transition time counts as riders ride back up the firing range for the start of the next run. Fastest overall time wins it. The Triple D Cup is a grassroots type of event, meaning free and freakin' fun, race for bragging rights and win some cool swag courtesy of Gearhead. Go big, go hard, get your knee pads and full face, it's gonna be a wild ride.
