    Best Trails In Southwest/Central LA

I am in Lake Charles for Grad school, ride at Sam Houston a lot. What are some other good trails within an hour of Lake Charles?

    Thanks in advance.

I figure you go to MSU? if you do any urban riding a few of us go hit downtown near the river walk and tend to ride on campus when possible. The trails are **** in this area but as far as a distance ride river road is great for cruising and so is lake street heading south. If interested in riding just hit me up on here.
Carpe Diem because you would be cooler if you did.

I was reading the replies and I was like "wtf? Baton Rouge? Texas?". I thought OP meant Southwest/Central Los Angeles.

Wild Azalea for sure if you're willing to drive 2 hours. Link it with Kincaid for a great all day ride. Most LA trails are on small tracts with limited acreage but you can put your nose down and crank out some serious miles on that trail.
