    SW Michigan Riding

    Hello All,

I am traveling to SW Michigan for work. I will be there for the next 6-7 weeks. Is there anything worth dragging the bike up for. I like the technical stuff and some FR if availiable. I don't mind the climbing if the down is rewarding. Riding needs to be close as time is short to get rides in with the long shifts. I am staying in Stevensville.

    Any suggestions or opinions?

    Thanks in advance.

I used to live in Stevensville and rode a couple trails .

    1. Andrews University - technical xc but fairly flat. It's built in a ravine so short steep climbs. The soil type is mostly clay. Located here. Park at the retirement home and the trail is just past the circle/turn around. You can see it on the aerial view of Google Maps. I think there are around 8 miles of trails.

    2. Trail next to Vineland Center in St. Joseph. Its a power line trail with some single track off to the side. The soil is sandy.

I don't know of any FR or DH trails in the area.

Thank you for the suggestions. I just found out that my shift has changed. No time to ride.
