Possible southeast Michigan trip this weekend 7/5/13

Hey everyone, some friends and myself are thinking of taking a trip to some new trail this weekend- somewhere not too far from the northeast Ohio area. We were thinking of the trail system near Pinckney the Potawatomi area. My main question is whether or not it will be dry because with the amount of rain we have been getting even our most well designed trails are holding unridable amounts of water. Also, how is this place? I've heard good stories but most of them come from guys that were there 10+ years ago. Thanks a lot! -Kyle

We've had a couple of dry days in a row, so things are improving in the area. The issue with Poto is that it gets a lot of foot traffic on weekends, and with this being a holiday weekend, it might be worse. Still, if you've never ridden Poto, it's worth the trip.

I rode the Poto yesterday and it was in great shape. One big tree down around mile 14.5, but otherwise there were no issues. It didn't rain at all today so it should be good to go for you.
