    Pinckney State Park

Anyone know anything about this park? How is the riding? Also, any trails near this area? My mom is renting a lake house right by Pinckney in July, so I am thinking of coming up if the riding is good....thanks in advance for any thoughts/advice!

    poto nice

Very nice. 26 miles. Several steep climbs of a few minutes. Very fast single track with root and washout, sometimes several in a row. Some sand after descents. Lots of roots. Some neat views of lakes. About a two hour run if you run quick. Very, very nice. My favourite around the area. Have fun.

The State Park you are referring to is probably Silver Lake State park that is within the Pinckney Recreation Area. The trails are the Potawatomi, Crooked Lake and Silver Lake Trails. Very good riding.
