    New trails?

I'm in Livonia. Generally ride island lake and maybary. Gonna try duck lake this weekend. Is there a list of trails someone can suggest. Thanks

You have about 250 miles of singletrack within an hour's drive. Look here for maps and details: Trail Guide Michigan Mountain Biking Association

We're building new trails in Hines Park near you as well. See Motor City Mountain Biking Association - New Hines Park project for details.

Try Lakeshore Park (Tree Farm) in Novi - it is one of my favorites.

Excellent ! I will look it up. I'm pretty much a beginner. I started two seasons ago but had back surgery last summer so didn't get to ride. I've been riding with my bro inlaw and uncle who have been riding much longer. Picked up a 29er last season just before surgery. I'm starting to pass them now and they have only taken me to those two tacks I mentioned earlier. I'm looking for more logs and rocks and jumps. But will enjoy just different looks and challenges. Thanks !!!

Highland including the 'D' loop isn't that far for a challenge.

Be sure to check out Ft. Custer in Augusta (near Battle Creek), Merrell, Cannonsburg and Luton over in Rockford, Brighton State Rec (Murray Lake and Torn Shirt) in Howell. If you really want to get your ass kicked, ride Grubers Grind at Holly, then do a full A,B,C and D at Highland.

The pedals turn, not just the left one, but the right one too.

Morton Taylor is not bad for a quick ride. It's located at Morton Taylor and Michigan Ave in Canton. It's not as tough as Maybury but it's alot of fun. There's a bunch of loops to string together to make it as long as you want.

Morton Taylor is great! And it's close enough for me to get to on bike via the I-275 pathway in about 2hrs :-D Plus it connects to a couple of other nice trails.
