    Do you ride w/rain?

Is anyone riding this afternoon? What are the "rules" if it is raining? Are the trails (State/Metro Parks) closed?

Proper etiquette is to avoid trails when they are wet or muddy (after/during rain, during thaw season, etc.) Even if it's not raining, if the trail drains poorly, give it time to drain so there's no mud. Getting caught out in the rain is one thing but actively riding in wet weather only tears up the trails which MMBA and other volunteers have to repair. Contrary to popular belief, the trails don't fix themselves and we all rather be riding them than workingon them. The trails don't necessarily close but if the land managers see too much abuse of the trails it could affect our ability to use them in the long term.
